Refund Policy

Protween is sold as a one-time purchase. The sections below describe when a refund is available, how to request one, and what happens to the license after a refund is issued.

Eligibility

Purchases may be refunded within 3 days of purchase if the product cannot be used as intended. Examples of qualifying issues include, but are not limited to:

• The installer cannot complete on a supported macOS version.
• The desktop app fails to launch or crashes consistently after a clean install.
• License activation does not succeed even after following the documented activation steps.
• Exports fail to complete on prototypes that Protween advertises as supported.

Refunds are not granted for change of mind, accidental purchases after the 3-day window, exports that work as designed but did not meet a personal preference (for example, the user wanted a feature not advertised), or for prototypes Protween clearly labels as unsupported (Lottie, embedded video, etc.).

How to request a refund

Email [email protected] within 3 days of the original purchase. Include:

• The email address used at checkout.
• The order ID from your purchase receipt.
• A short description of the problem you encountered, including the macOS version and any error messages.

We aim to respond within two business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method by Creem (our Merchant of Record).

License status after a refund

Once a refund is approved, the corresponding license is considered terminated. You agree to stop using Protween, uninstall the application, and delete the local license file from all devices on which it was activated. Continuing to use Protween after a refund — including reinstalling or reactivating the license — is a breach of the Terms of Service. Protween relies on this policy (rather than remote license revocation) to keep working offline for honest buyers; we trust customers to honor it.

Trial mode

A purchase is never required to evaluate the product. Without a license, every export is unlimited but carries a small watermark. Use the trial to confirm Protween works on your real prototype before purchasing.
